Extracting nitrogen from the air
Our Nitrate Scrubber efficiently removes gaseous ammonia and other odorous compounds from the air. Using acidic wash water, ammonia is captured and immediately converted into a high-quality fertilizer, which remains dissolved in the water. A post-treatment process developed and optimized by Circlair removes any remaining odor components and breaks them down.
Patented process control
Thanks to an innovative protocol developed at KU Leuven, which uses nitric acid, the Nitrate Scrubber consumes up to 10 times less water than conventional air scrubbers. At the same time, the produced blowdown water yields a high concentration of ammonium nitrate, resulting in an optimal fertilizer value for agricultural applications.
With our Nitrate Scrubber, we transform nitrogen emissions into a valuable resource: efficient, circular, and sustainable.

Sustainable and circular
The Nitrate Scrubber protects both air and water. The technology purifies the air and reduces odor, dust, and nitrogen emissions, while the blowdown water can be used directly as circular fertilizer with a high nutrient value. This results in cost savings, more efficient water use, and sustainable operations for both Agriculture and Industry.
